Cookies Policy

Good news: this policy is very short right now, because the site barely uses anything the law considers a "cookie." Even so, the legal name still needs to be filled in and a lawyer needs to review this before publishing — and, above all, come back to this document as soon as any analytics tool, advertising, or an embedded (rather than linked) Calendly is added, since that would change what needs to be declared here.

01 What cookies are

Cookies (and similar technologies, such as browser local storage) are small files a website may store on your device to remember information about your visit, such as your preferences or your session.

02 What we currently use on this site

This website does not use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies of any kind. The only thing it stores in your browser is:

Theme preference (ff-theme): stored via localStorage (not technically a cookie), it remembers whether you chose light or dark mode. It is strictly necessary for the site to function, does not identify the user, is never shared with anyone, and does not require prior consent under Article 22.2 of the LSSI-CE (the "technical storage" exemption).

[If Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, HubSpot, an embedded Calendly, or a similar tool is added in the future, this section must be updated to list each cookie, its purpose, duration, and whether it requires consent — and a cookie consent banner (CMP), which does not exist today because it isn't needed, will probably have to be added.]

03 Linked third-party services

The site's contact button links to Calendly, which opens in a new, independent tab. Once there, Calendly may set its own cookies under its own policy — this page does not control or declare them, since they are not loaded within our site. [Verify Calendly's cookie policy and link to it here.]

The site also loads the Inter and IBM Plex Mono typefaces from Google Fonts' servers, which involves a network request to Google when the page loads (it does not set cookies, but it does transmit your IP address). [Recommended: self-host the fonts to remove this dependency entirely.]

Although this site does not set its own cookies, you can view and delete at any time the cookies set by third-party sites you visit (such as Calendly) through your browser's settings:

This policy will be updated as soon as what the website actually uses changes. Users are advised to review it periodically.
